96-Well Genomic DNA Isolation Kit This kit is ideal for processing fresh or frozen whole blood, serum, or other body fluids, as well as cell suspensions. Two alternative procedures can be used: vacuum-driven and centrifugation. Typically, volumes of 200-400μl of blood or other fluid samples will yield 6-10μg of genomic DNA. Each well contains a column which will bind up to 10μg of DNA, and impurities (ie: proteins, salt, and nucleotides) are washed away. Purified genomic DNA can be used for most molecular biology experiments including restriction digestion, PCR, and blotting. This kit can be customized for your specific needs.
