miRNA cDNA Synthesis Kit

The miRNA cDNA Synthesis Kit is a complete system for the efficient synthesis of first strand miRNA from total RNA templates. The kit utilizes a mutated recombinant M-MuLV Reverse Transcriptase which exhibits limited RNase H activity. The recombinant RNasin™ Ribonuclease Inhibitor, supplied with the kit effectively protects the RNA template from degradation. The kit is also supplied with unique miRNA d(T)adapter. It anneals selectively on the poly(A) tail of miRNA and universal primers in miRNA profiling kit (MA003, MA004). Therefore, they can be used for transcription of the 5'-end regions of miRNA. The first strand of miRNA can be directly used as a template for the qPCR-based analysis of miRNA expression in a given sample.
